When is the best time to visit K2?
Usually Base camp trek Jun – Aug. Outside those months some roads and jeep tracks can be closed by snow.
How high is K2?
About 8,611 metres above sea level. Take it slowly on the first day and drink plenty of water.
How do I get to K2 from Lahore?
By road: about 985 km to the Skardu area (around 22 hours of driving), which Billman splits over days with hotel stops. From Islamabad it is about 650 km.
